UN continues to highlight Provital Group project in Mexico
The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) has produced a report about the Provital Group CSR project that is being developed in Mexico together with the University of Querétaro and the Women and Environment association of Querétaro. UNDP sees in this project a clear example of sustainable development of agriculture for the production of COSMOS medicinal plants where the Nagoya protocol is applied.
Provital Group, through this project, will obtain raw material to develop new natural actives for cosmetics. At the same time, we will collaborate in the sustainable development of the local agriculture of Querétaro implemented by the Women and Environment association. Through the application of the Nagoya protocol in the commercialization of the raw material obtained, Provital Group ensures the traceability of its products and an equitable distribution of the benefits to protect the genetic resources and traditional knowledge.
We are very proud of the interest shown by the United Nations in this project related to our business strategy, committed to sustainability and future generations.
